free Yahoo!® Fantasy Football Game Watch service, you can get real-time stats for your Yahoo!® fantasy football games.
Here's How It Works
We offer you two ways to monitor your Yahoo!® fantasy football league games. You choose the method you prefer
and we provide you with free real-time stats on your games, just like if you had purchased StatTracker® from Yahoo!®.
Automatic (The Easy Way)
The easiest way to add your league(s) is to provide us with your Yahoo!® username and password. We'll login as you
and download the information we need directly from Yahoo!®. This includes your league settings, team names, and
player lists. You're in multiple leagues? No problem! We'll download them all.
Updates are just as easy! Once you give us your login information, we can refresh lineups and update matchups with
just a single click. Beyond that, we will not use your login information in any other way. We will not modify
your lineup or team in any way and we promise to keep your login information private and secure.
Manual (The Hard Way)
If you're not comfortable revealing your Yahoo!® username and password, you can instead gather the information that
we need and upload it manually. This method is a more difficult and time-consuming but it does not require you
to provide us with your login information.
When using this method, any updates that you need to apply (e.g., if you or your opponent changes lineups
since the last time you uploaded the data) will require that you re-upload your matchup pages.
To gather the data we need, you'll need to login to your Yahoo!® account and visit the "Settings" page for your league.
You'll need to save that page to your hard drive (by going to the "File" menu and choosing "Save as..."). Then
you'll have to upload that file to us. We'll use the file you upload to read in the configuration information for your league.
Then, each week and for every game you want to monitor, you'll have to download the matchup page in the same way and
upload it to us. Additionally, if a lineup changes, then you'll have to re-download and re-upload the matchup page
to us. This manual process can be somewhat tedious for this reason. This is why we recommend using the automatic method
described above.
